WE HAVE HAD TO CHANGE THE SYSTEM IN WHICH WE MANAGE OUR FLU VACCINATION PROGRAMME.
THIS YEAR YOU WILL NEED TO BOOK AN APPOINTMENT – THESE WILL BE AVAILABLE ON TUESDAYS, WEDNESDAYS AND THURSDAYS THROUGHOUT OCTOBER.
FROM MONDAY 1ST SEPTEMBER PLEASE CALL 01379 898295 PRESS OPTION 2 BETWEEN 8.30am and 12.30pm, OR LOGIN TO PATIENT ACCESS TO BOOK AN APPOINTMENT.
PLEASE ONLY BOOK AN APPOINTMENT IF YOU ARE ELIGIBLE FOR A FLU VACCINATION - THIS DOES NOT CURRENTLY INCLUDE TO NEW COHORT OF 50 - 64 YEAR OLDS - UNLESS YOU HAVE PREVIOUSLY BEEN ELIGIBLE.

If you are coming down for an appointment with a Doctor you will receive a text before hand with instructions to Stay in your Car and Text us to make us aware that you have arrived.
You will then receive a call from the clinican you are seeing. Please bear with us as we can have signal issues.
The aim of our committed team is to provide the very highest quality medical care to our patients in a friendly, courteous and professional manner. We aim to achieve this through continual development in training and education both individually and as a team.

We currently have members of our team off work as a result of being unwell or self-isolating – this clearly affects our ability to maintain our service. Please be patient with staff who are doing their very best.
We are receiving very large numbers of requests for medication – much more than we would normally expect. Many of the requests are a long way ahead of when they are due. Please DO NOT order medication too soon as there requests will not be processed.
If you have been allocated a time for a face to face appointment please do not arrive too early for the appointment – you will either have to wait in your car or outside the building. We do not want the waiting room full of patients as it places patients and staff at risk. Some patients coming to the surgery will have underlying health conditions that place them at high risk and we do not want them to have to share a waiting room with other, potentially infectious, patients.
If you have symptoms of Coronavirus (COVID 19) – please stay at home and manage your illness there. If you are getting worse you should contact 111 – DO NOT COME TO THE SURGERY

The NHS in Suffolk and Public Health England (PHE) are extremely well prepared for outbreaks of new infectious diseases. The NHS has put in place measures to ensure the safety of all patients and NHS staff while also ensuring services are available to the public as normal.
If you have a new cough and/or high temperature - Do not go to a GP surgery, community pharmacy or hospital. Self isolate yourself and your family for 14 days. However is you also have shortness of breath (even if it's mild) visit NHS 111 online or call 111.

Everyone is being reminded to follow Public Health England advice to:
- Always carry tissues with you and use them to catch your cough or sneeze. Then bin the tissue, and wash your hands, or use a sanitiser gel.
- Wash your hands often with soap and water, especially after using public transport. Use a sanitiser gel if soap and water are not available.
- Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth with unwashed hands.
- Avoid close contact with people who are unwell.
